About Us…
Kids Church
TBC Kids Church offers three sessions of programs (9:00am and 10:45am) for all children from 3 years old to Grade 6 at school on Sundays during school terms.
Kids Church Programs teaches children about Jesus and Christianity through Bible reading, Bible stories, prayer, drama, music, craft, and other activities according to their age. We are committed to being a safe church and take our responsibility for the safety of children seriously. All our volunteers have received child safety training and hold current Blue Cards. Toowong Baptist Teens
Toowong Baptist Teens is a program for teenagers from year 7 to year 12 and takes place on Sundays from 10:45am to 12:00pm.
We are committed to helping teenagers learn about the relevance of Jesus and his message for our contemporary culture and for making wise choices regarding future directions.
At Toowong Baptist Teens we have discussions about the Bible and life issues, as well as socialise with each other and build friendships.

Toowong Youth Group (TYG)
What & who: The Toowong Youth Group (TYG) is a ministry held on Friday nights at Toowong Baptist Church (TBC), for kids grade 7 to 12. During our time on Friday nights, we will open God’s word, pray, worship Him in song, and generally have fun together. Here at TBC, we value discipleship, and TYG is aimed toward providing opportunities for this to occur (Matt 28:19-20). But, we also want our kids who don’t know Christ, to hear about Him, and to see Him in the fellowship of His people. While we realize that we cannot save anyone (that’s God’s department), we hope that through hearing His word, and seeing Him in His people, that they might want to know Him as their own personal Lord and Saviour, where they also become disciples of Christ. In this endeavour we hope that you will join us in prayer in seeing these things take shape in your kids' lives, as we work together in partnership for God's kingdom.
A new endeavour: This year we are embarking on a new endeavour where we are working to create a Youth worship band for Friday nights. Involved in this is the furthering of discipleship, as well as creating a band that can lead us in worship to God musically. So far, in these early stages, we have had the joy of seeing kids get involved and having fun, so we look forward to what may come from this endeavour.
Vision: For the good news of God to be proclaimed to our young people. For faith to grow, or to occur for the first time. For meaningful fellowship to take place with one another. And, as we look to Christ, for servant hearts to take shape in our young people's lives.
Mission: To work as a community of believers, to see God shape the lives of our kids, and each other, as we look to grow closer to Christ, working in the Kingdom of God together, in this ministry.
When: Friday nights 6:30-9pm: dinner @ 6:30 pm, Youth Worship Band @ 7-7:40 pm, and Youth Group proper @ 7:40-9pm.
Where: At the Toowong Baptist Church.
At Present: We are going through Mark’s Gospel.

Community Groups
Meeting together regularly throughout the week is a great way to get connected. Our international congregations has Community Groups which meet at various times and locations every week across Brisbane.
At Community Groups we come together to study God’s word, pray for one another, and get to know each other better.

Baptism / Joining the Church
One of our favourite events at TBC is baptisms. They are full of celebration and joy as we thank Jesus for all that he has done in changing people’s lives.
We believe the Bible is clear that all who want to join Jesus and get involved in the Christian movement get baptised.
You might have already been baptised and just want to find out about how to become a member of the church to get more involved.
